Inconel Alloy Pipe/Tube is a tubular product made from a family of nickel-chromium-based superalloys renowned for their exceptional high-temperature strength, thermal stability, and superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation in extreme environments.These alloys maintain high mechanical strength, yield stress, and creep-rupture properties when exposed to temperatures where traditional steels fail (up to 180℉ or 982℃ for many grades).     General Performance Characteristics of Inconel Alloy Tube and Pipe

    1. Extreme Temperature and Strength

    High-Temperature Integrity: Maintains high mechanical strength, creep resistance, and stress rupture resistance up to very high temperatures (especially 617, 718).

    Oxidation and Carburization: High chromium content forms a tenacious protective oxide layer, providing excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in furnace and combustion environments.

    2. Corrosion Resistance

    Versatile Media Resistance: Effective in both reducing (due to Ni and Mo) and oxidizing (due to Cr) chemical environments.

    Chloride and SCC: High nickel content provides strong immunity to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking (SCC), making it ideal for processing plants and heat exchangers using chloride-containing cooling water.

    Pitting Resistance (625): The high molybdenum content in Inconel 625 offers exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, suitable for severely corrosive flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems.

    3. Fabrication and Workability

    Weldability: Grades 625 and 718 have excellent weldability and are designed to resist weld-related cracking, critical for fabricating complex piping systems in demanding fields like aerospace.

    Dimension Stability: Precision tubing can be produced with narrow dimensional tolerances for instruments and critical fluid transfer lines.
