    Universal Resistance: C-type alloys provide performance across both reducing (high Mo) and oxidizing (high Cr) chemical conditions, ensuring structural integrity for components like valve stems that encounter variable process streams.

    Localized Attack Immunity: The high content of molybdenum and tungsten guarantees extremely high Pitting Resistance Equivalent Numbers (PREN), essential for preventing premature failure of fasteners and shafts in chloride-rich solutions.

    Weld Zone Stability: Bar stock of C-276 and C-22 maintains corrosion resistance in the as-welded condition, which is critical for fabricating custom pipe fittings and complex machined assemblies without post-weld heat treatment.
